Happy 2010

Friday, 1 January 2010
It's been an amazing few hours here in Edinburgh!

I've just come back from taking my eldest granddaughter up Calton Hill in time for the midnight fireworks. The display was fantastic both on the Hill and across at the Castle. The roar of hundreds of thousands of people down in Princes Street garden celebrating was incredible and Poppy was nearly taking off like a rocket with excitement (closely followed I must admit by me!).

Earlier in the evening we'd watched the partial Lunar eclipse. Then as we were near the bottom of the Hill on our way home, we watched a Lunar rainbow form in rings around the moon. It was so beautiful and totally magical.

After the last couple of days of energy raining down on us it was like a blessing. I'm taking it as a sign that 2010 is going to be amazing for us all!

Happy New Year!

Much love from
Susan and Emma xx
