Beachcombing

Tuesday, 12 May 2009
I used to own a cottage in Fife in the sea-side village of Lower Largo and today I was back there visiting friends.

Fortunately my friends are great beachcombers because all I wanted to do was chill out by strolling along the shore, collecting shells and enjoying the call of the sea birds.

The wind was fresh along the Firth and it blew all the cobwebs away. I came home with a stash of shells to put on my mantle piece.

There's the slight smell of salt air coming from them and I feel refreshed just looking at them.
