About a year ago I moved to Edinburgh. I have to confess, it wasn’t with any great enthusiasm - I’m more of a country girl. But as a Scot, I did feel I should at least spend some time in our capital and get to know it.
Well somehow the city has cast a spell and day by day I have come to appreciate and enjoy it. I love the dramatic city scape of the Castle and Firth of Forth and the Pentland Hills all visible from the top of Carlton Hill and I love the buzz the international visitors bring.
But these last couple of weeks have really made me fall in love. Blossom trees are out everywhere, skies are all shades of blue, architectural details suddenly shine in the spring sunshine. I’m brimming with enthusiasm and even sneaking out from 7th Space to collect some coffee feels like an adventure.
