The ancient Celtic artists with their wonderfully intricate designs seemed to capture and reflect all the beauty of the world surrounding them.We no longer have a complete understanding of the meaning behind the intricate knots, whorls and flourishes but something in their flowing beauty still stirs us.
Perhaps it was simply the artist's eternal desire to translate and interpret the beautiful complexity of our world.
